Fitness Tracking
Sync with Garmin and Strava, view heart-rate analysis and fitness stats — a Trekker-only feature.
Your Trail Data, Connected
Tiki Tours integrates with Garmin and Strava so you can see your fitness data alongside your trip history. Heart-rate analysis, elevation profiles, and activity stats — all in one place, connected to the trails you actually walked.
This is a Trekker tier feature.
Connecting Your Devices
Head to Settings > Integrations to connect:
- Garmin Connect — authorise the connection and Tiki Tours pulls your activity data automatically after each sync
- Strava — connect your Strava account to import activities. Only outdoor activities (hikes, runs, walks) are synced — we do not pull gym or cycling data unless you ask.
Both connections are opt-in and revocable at any time. Disconnect from Settings and your synced data is removed from Tiki Tours.
What You See
Once connected, your trip history shows fitness overlays:
- Heart-rate graph — plotted against distance or time, so you can see where a climb pushed you into zone 4 or where the descent let you recover
- Elevation profile — total ascent and descent for each day, matched to the trail segments you walked
- Activity summary — distance, moving time, average pace, calories (estimated), and peak heart rate
- Historical trends — over time, see how your fitness responds to trail days. Are you getting faster on similar climbs? Is your recovery heart rate improving?
Privacy
Your fitness data stays in your Tiki Tours account. We do not share it, sell it, or use it for advertising. If you disconnect a device, the synced data is deleted. If you delete your account, everything goes.
Fitness tracking is entirely optional. Tiki Tours works perfectly without it — the integration exists for trampers who find the data useful, not as a requirement.
