Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Tiki Tours (tiki.tours), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Service description

Tiki Tours provides trip planning tools and trail discovery features for New Zealand outdoor activities. Trail, hut, and campsite data is sourced from the Department of Conservation (DOC) under a CC BY 4.0 license.

User accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Users under 16 may use the service with parental consent.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download trail data.
• Interfere with the operation of the service.
• Impersonate any person or entity.

Subscriptions and billing

Trekker subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in NZD. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Trail data disclaimer

Trail conditions, track closures, and facility availability can change without notice. Tiki Tours provides information for planning purposes only. Always check DOC alerts and weather forecasts before heading into the backcountry. We accept no liability for decisions made based on data shown in the app.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, Tiki Tours shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
