The track between Middle Hill Hut and Makino Hut (the 3 gorges) was extensively damaged following high winds. The majority of this has now been cleared, with a couple more trees to do within the last gorge closest to Makino Hut. The track is open for use but marking has not yet been re-done so good navigation skills are still required.
