Francis Burn Viaduct closed
Francis Burn Viaduct on the South Coast Track is closed for safety reasons. Currently there is no marked alternative route. Experienced hikers with good off-track navigational skills may find a way across the Francis Burn River, however there is private land adjacent to the track in this area. Percy Burn and Edwin Burn viaducts are also closed but can be bypassed.
