Kaiaraara Track closure

Kaiaraara Track is closed from the Kaiaraara Hut bridge to Coopers Castle Junction. The Kauri Dams are accessible via the upper section of the Kaiaraara track. When hiking between Mt Heale Hut and Kaiaraara Hut use the South Fork Track.  This is a long term alert.  First published on 20 March 2023. Last reviewed on 28 March 2026.
