Severe weather warning for Young Valley
A severe weather/high rainfall warning has been issued for the Young Valley area (part of the Gillespie Pass Track in the Mount Aspiring National Park). Trampers are advised not to camp on the valley floor. Move through Young Valley as quickly as possible. Rivers and streams on this circuit may run high, crossing these in flood conditions is not advised. High Alert warning signage will be posted in nearby visitor centres and relevant track entrances.
