Oturere Hut is unavailable and is to be used for emergency shelter only. The hut site and associated campground facilities are closed to visitors while the new hut is being built. During this time, the Tongariro Northern Circuit will not operate as a Great Walk, however Mangatepopo Hut and Waihohonu Hut are available for booking
